An off-duty gang-unit officer, Jeremiah Goodson, tried to take a suspect wanted on warrants into custody when he was shot several times in the chest. Police Chief asked, “please keep the family in your prayers. That’s what’s going to help us get through this. Also, my officers, pray for them too.”
