Mayes, a friend of the family, kidnapped Bain and her 3 daughters, with the help of his 65-year-old mother and ex-wife. The bodies of Bain and her oldest daughter have been found; the suspect’s mother and ex-wife face 15 to 60 years in prison; Mayes and the 2 youngest daughters are still at large.
