Yesterday, 27-year-old champion swimmer, Dale Oen died from cardiac arrest after a workout in Arizona. Today, former NFL linebacker, Junior Seau, 43, died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

These two, like ALL professional athletes, were given talent by the Lord their God which led them into the spotlight and into the hearts and minds of millions. Both never thanked God, giving themselves the glory.
I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another. (Isa. 42:8.)
Further, they failed to use their influence to teach obedience to God’s standards. Now, they will give an account to God.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (2 Cor. 5:10.)
