The Amish have rejected the righteousness of Christ, and have gone about to establish their own form of righteousness and false religion.
For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. (Ro. 10:3-4.)
All your goofy rituals and traditions do not make you righteous. Your righteousness is as filthy rags in God’s eyes.
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags. (Isa. 64:6.)
