At Westboro Baptist Church we have framed imprecatory prayers against our enemies, the wicked, which are God’s enemies. Including from Psalm 83:15: “So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.”
That verse demonstrates “[t]he instability, restlessness and impotence of the wicked; their horror when God deals with them in justice.” [Spurgeon, Treasury of David.]
