GodSmacked U Ethiopia – ancient land of rebels! Ethiopia is an antediluvian land, to which the River Gihon flowed from the Garden of Eden. It was ruled over by King Ahasuerus in the days of Queen Esther; warned by the Old Testament prophets; and home of the Ethiopian eunuch, treasurer to Queen Candace, whose salvation in Jerusalem led to Philip baptizing him. God blessed Ethiopia, but that thriving nation (Zerah the Ethiopian had a host of one million when he fought Judah) rejected the truth of God, and has persisted for centuries in idolatry, filth and disobedience. Today Ethiopia is an eroded, poverty-stricken shadow of its former self, with the wrath of God heavy upon its apostate people. Early Monday (1/25/10), God knocked an Ethiopian airliner from the sky with 83 people aboard, as it left Lebanon. Isaiah 60:12 For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish.
