What are you trying to accomplish?

First, our goal is to preach the Word of God to this crooked and perverse generation. By our words, some will repent. By our words, some will be condemned. Whether they hear, or whether they forbear, they will know a prophet has been among them. I’m sorry if this question is unlearned. This is actually my firsttime actually exploring the ideas of the Westboro Baptist Church in detail, and I’m a bit confused. I am by no means mocking your beliefs or being sarcastic. I am only trying to gain information. I’m very naive so things don’t sink in very well.

Anyway, one of your church’s signs says, “too late to pray”. If it’s too late to pray, then are you simply warning the nations of their imminent demise when you go to your rallies, or is there another purpose that I’ve missed? Is there any way that someone can go about changing their fate?

“Do you ever pray for the salvation of those who you feel are condemned?

Of course not! For, if we follow (as we ought) the example of our Saviour and the clear commandment of God, we would not dare to do so.

To clarify, consider what the Saviour said in John 17. After stating at length how God pre-selected a few out of the world to give to Jesus, it comes to verse 9 which states unequivocally “I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou has given me; for they are thine.” To the extent that we are ever instructed to pray for any other than those who make a profession to this faith, it is in recognition that they may be God’s elect who have not yet received the call to grace. Hence, we are instructed to “pray for them who despitefully use you, and persecute you. (Matthew 5:44). We know that, as with Saul of Tarsus, we could find among the enemy one who has grace.

More telling on the subject, however, is the events immediately prior to the destruction by God of the nation of Israel told of in Jeremiah. Throughout the detailed accounts of the abominations of that nation, God repeatedly tells his prophet “pray not thou for this people” (Jeremiah 7:16; 11:14; 14:11). Then, as if to put the instruction into the hyperbolic range, God pronounces the futility of such prayer by saying “Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people.” (Jeremiah 15:1). You simply cannot read the accounts given throughout the scriptures without recognizing that those who are clearly condemned of God are beyond any hope of intervention by prayer.

To bring the point into focus, consider the pronouncements of God that He has thrice given sodomites “up to uncleanness” (Romans 1:24), “up unto vile affections” (Romans 1:26), and “over to a reprobate mind” (Romans 1:28). What arrogance would we display to pretend we could pray them back into the good grace of Him who has given them up?”

We seek to warn our fellow man that except ye repent, ye shall likewise perish (Lu 13:3 & 13:5). We are seeking the lost. It may be that these words through the foolishness of preaching will prick a lost soul’s heart. 1Co 1:21  For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

Our goal is very simple – preach the Word. How it lands on someone is solely up to God.

Ps 44:21  Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

Your second question – can anyone change their fate? No. There are two groups of people; the elect and the reprobate. At a minimum, I would suggest that you read Romans chapter 9 to give you some light on this question.

Ro 9: 6 ¶  Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7  Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8  That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed. 9  For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sara shall have a son. 10  And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac; 11  (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) 12  It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. 13  As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

• Those “which were so born from their mother’s womb” (i.e. the “natural born eunuchs,” which do not possess the proper and fit sexual organs for the marriage state from conception; they are born without them, or without functional ones).
• Those which are “made eunuchs of men”  (i.e. castrated men; some examples of this kind of eunuch are the prophet Daniel and his three companions, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah; see Daniel 1:1-7). [And, see today’s sermon posted later today on www.godhatesfags.com.

I’m curious about how the radio program went tonight.

WBC was on a radio program tonight. It start out with the guy congratulating us on the Supreme Court victory, because he’s a “street preacher” and it helps him, to which we said that God moved those judge’s hearts to do that, so all the thanks goes to Him.  Then the gloves came off.

He said we shouldn’t say “fag”.  We told him why we do.  He didn’t like the answer.  He said we don’t sound like Jesus.  He said we’re crazy.  He said we are media whores.  We said “you call it media whores, we call it getting a vital message out to hundreds of millions of people.”

He said we are repressed fags.  We said “oh, so you’re a psychologist now. Those are the same things fags say.”  He said we don’t really believe this stuff – we just want to make people mad. He said the dead boys in Washington have nothing to do with fag marriage. He said that if we had any real convictions, we wouldn’t be bought off with a radio program (he must not have understood that the point is to get the message out to as many people as possible).  We answered all that stuff.  He said where did Jesus rejoice at the death of people?  We said in Proverbs 1.  We told him to look at Luke 13 – Jesus preached about current events, telling them “less ye repent, you will all likewise perish”.  We also asked him, “how about hell?  If God didn’t want people there, He wouldn’t have created hell.”

Now, that comment got us to the root of the matter. You may all find this shocking, but it turns out that the guy doesn’t like our precious doctrines that God doesn’t love everybody and Jesus didn’t die for everybody. He kept talking about not liking our “methods” and that we’re doing “damage” to Christianity. We told him, “so the truth comes out – you couldn’t care less about our methods – you hate the doctrines. And, the only ones ‘damaging’ are people like you who blaspheme God.”

He didn’t like our butt buddy sign. He said it’s “filthy communication” and “not edifying” (except he used different words, quoting from some goofy version of the Bible). We told him we are supposed to “make sin exceeding sinful. It’s absolutely edifying. People see it and understand that that sin is a filthy, soul-damning sin. What are you doing about that sin? When you preach, you pussy foot around so much that nobody even knows what you’re talking about.”

We were supposed to be on an hour. He shut our mic off at about 40 minutes and told us a bunch of stuff about how we all need to repent and accept Jesus as our personal savior. Then he turned our mic back on and said we could have the last word, so we started talking, made him mad, he started yelling, and then he hung up on us.

I’m a christian, but unlike you. I follow in the steps of my lord and savior Jesus the Christ. I do my best not to judge others by anything other than their interaction with me. After all, were we not told that God the father is the judge and we will be judged on our judgement day. I respect our soldiers, if they didn’t do what they do you couldn’t embarass their graves the way you do. They provide the protection of the constitution that you hide behind to be as hateful as you are.

If you think that my question is unlearned I’m sorry. I just want to know how you can connect the tragic death of two children to the advocation for gay marriage in this state.

If god is so hateful that he will slay innocent children (and I am a professed Christian) why do we worship him?

I hope you offer an explanation of why you’re doing this horrible thing to these grieving families, instead of taking the issue up with our governor and our state government themselves, as we the residents of Washington are not the ones passing the bill, they are.

1. “You’re gonna eat your babies!” I think your dads famous for that line the most. Honestly, at first, I laughed. I never heard anyone say anything like that in my entire life. I watched a Steve Wilkos show where a mother used her 7 year old as a trick baby when she was 5 and tried to do it again when she was 7 and only got 9-20 years, I’ve read and watched about parents murdering their children, but EATING them? I thought it was a metaphorical statement just as Jesus spoke in metaphors and a lot of the Bible is written in metaphors, like Revelations the Beast with Seven Heads, meaning 7 evil countries but no beast. Anyhow, question: Is that from Moses? Does he also mean some sick evil cannibals will do just that while others will do worse by dstroying their babies moral compas?

Yes, all of that. Read Deut 28 – getting down to around verse 50 +. Also, Jer 19:9

And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every one the flesh of his friend in the siege and straitness, wherewith their enemies, and they that seek their lives, shall straiten them.

The mouth of the Lord has spoken it.  It has already happened in this nation, and it appears to promise worse and more.

2. When I was little, I hated the story of Lot’s wife because I thought her soul also turned to a pitcher of salt and did not go to hell but did not make it to Heaven, either. I thought, at the tender of 6, that if I was bad, God would do that to me, too. Does he kinda do that now when peoples bodies are preserved in lava during volcanoes and such? And what DID happen to Lot’s wife soul? I think God took her life, but like Moses, had Mercy on her and let her go to Heaven. Perhaps I don’t know what I am talking about?

There is absolutely nothing in the words that God has given us about Lot’s wife that would make you think that she is anywhere, except hell.  In fact, the Lord Jesus Christ holds her up as the warning to ALL, in ALL AGES and ALL PLACES, to wit:  Lu 17:32  Remember Lot‘s wife.

3. The Bible in Genesis talks about Cain marrying and going out into the world around others. Where did the others come from? I thought it must have come from Cain and Eve, but that’s too sick for me to think-right? Wrong?

Adam and Eve begat sons and daughters, I don’t know where exactly that path led and each person came from, and I’m not even a little bit worried about it.  WHY in this world are you?  You will cozy up to fags, but are all Abraham Lincolnie over Cain’s bidiness?

I’m curious to know what a Calvinistic Baptist Christain woman like you thinks about this: I told myself recently that all the devil had to do when he was still an Angel was say, God, I’d like your help, my heart wants to overthrow you, I want to be you, I’m jealous of you, etc, what I’m feeling is an abomination to you, my maker, and it’s wrong, will you please cure me? And God would’ve. That was all he had to do. When I get mad at God I tell him I’m mad at him and that it’s wrong for me to be mad at him and could he please help me get rid of that feeling? Seems like he could’ve been a man and done the same. Why do YOU think he didn’t?

For one simple reason; the Writer of this human experiment did not ordain it any other way.  Further, rules for angels are not the same as for humans.  Satan has a specific path, and he will walk that path and none other.

Here is one good place to look for that answer:  Da 4:35

And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

Another good place is this: Ephesians 1:3-9

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

My mom is a good Christain woman and my dad was trying to be a good Christain man: when they married, they were “innocent”, and when she was pregnant with me Mom did everything right but I was born with Aspergers Autism anyways, and believe me, it’s no gift, it sucks. I dont’ think God was punishing them, but could he have been punishing me for a sin he knew I would do yet regret, as an adult? Maybe it just happened-the human brain is so complex and humans don’t use much of it.

My dear, you have characterized your parents. You did not give facts, you gave opinion.  I don’t know what happened there, but I know that the wrath of God abides upon the children of disobedience.  I also know that God made a man blind so that he could use him as a teaching moment for his disciples.  If your parents were Catholic at that hour, you have mischaracterized them.  You don’t know what was going on, as you were not a witness.  You were not born.

6. Is there anything you do celebrate? You celebrate birthdays?

We have a birthday party.

7. Is corporal punishment okay to give to someone elses kid? (Bizarre question, I know.)

Parents are responsible to bring up their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.  See Deut 6:1-9.

8. I won’t ask you if you think I’m going to hell, we already danced that dance, but from the little that you know of me, do you think I am a good person?

There is no good human, Christ said this:  Lu 18:19

And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.

As for the rest of that, you are still alive, your duty is to fear God and keep his commandments. While you are still alive, there is hope.

For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion. (Ecc 9:4)
